How To Make Use Of E-Employment Service For Job Search?

For every state in India, there is a branch called Employment Exchange which is under the national employment scheme to help job seekers find available jobs under various departments of the government. This scheme is only for the citizens of India. Those candidates above 14 years of age can make use of the E-employment portal to get a chance of getting a job (Mostly temporary post).

Many people know about the employment exchange scheme but don’t know how to use it effectively to increase the chance of getting a job like registration, renewal, etc. It needs to be renewed after a specific interval of years, but many employees forget to renew. It reduces the seniority score, but if you pay close attention to optimizing the status, you may have a higher chance of getting a job through the employment service.

In the early days, we have to visit the employment exchange office directly and register with the details. After completing the secondary education, after the SSLC, we can register. But, as information technology has evolved a lot, significant changes have been made in the registration procedures and it makes it even simpler.

Registration procedures

You can register in two different methods such as online and offline. To register offline, you can visit the employment exchange office located at a place that belongs to your postal address.

For online registration, there is an online portal. visit the web address at http://www.eemployment.kerala.gov.in/

Required documents

You have to have the certificates that prove your age, caste, educational qualification, and address. SSLC certificate is enough to prove some of the details such as age, and caste. If you have not studied secondary school, you should submit the school certificate that is given at the time of leaving.

There may be candidates who only qualify for the 8th pass or below. If they have no certificates, they can contact the school and they will provide a valid certificate that you can use for the registration at employment exchange.

You can use a ration card, Aadhaar card, PAN card, election identity card issued by the election commission, etc as proof of the address.

If you have higher qualifications such as higher secondary, pre-degree, degree, master’s degree, etc, bring them as proof of the qualification.

Instructions

To apply online, you should bring the above-mentioned documents to your employment office. They will give you a form. Fill it carefully and return it to them. They will check and verify all the documents. Keep the Xerox copy of all the documents because you may give it there.

If you are planning to register online, visit the website http://www.eemployment.kerala.gov.in/, fill in all the details, and submit the application.

From the next 90 days of online registration, you should submit all the details at your nearest employment exchange. You’ll get the seniority from the date of the online application.

If you have previously registered on any other employment exchange in your country and the status lapsed, you should get a cancellation or lapsed certificate from there and submit it to the newly registered office.

Get Identity card

Once you have completed the registration procedures, you’ll get an identity card with the signature of the employment officer or junior employment officer. You can use this certificate for anything related to the national employment service scheme.

Ask the officers the time to renew the registration. It’s better to renew or add the details when you get a new course certificate.

Adding additional qualification

If you registered when you passed the SSLC exam, then you completed and passed the higher secondary exam, then you can add the newly earned course eligibility. This should be done properly so that you get seniority and a high chance of getting a job through the employment exchange.

You can either add the additional qualification through online and offline. If you are not in the place, you can add online and from the next 90 days, submit the certificates of the additional qualifications to the office.

Addition of experience certificate

When you have an experience certificate that you got from a previous job that obtained either by your way or through employment exchange, you can submit and add it to your profile. This is a great way to optimize your profile and add weight to it.

If you haven’t renewed the application on time, you may lose your seniority.

Suppose you aren’t able to submit the experience certificate due to various reasons like illness, or other natural calamities, you can submit a reason notice from the medical officers (Doctor) or a notice from the government institutions like taluk office, panchayat office, civil station, etc.

Additionally, submit the fitness certificate from the doctor to prove you have healthy fitness. because some posts that are recruited through the employment exchange need some physical fitness.
