CSpace is Kerala’s homegrown over-the-top (OTT) platform, designed to cater to the diverse entertainment needs of the state’s vibrant cultural landscape. Launched in 2022, this innovative streaming service offers a curated collection of Malayalam films, series, and original content, providing a platform for local talents and celebrating the rich heritage of Kerala’s entertainment industry.
It’s the first and now one and only OTT platform that is developed and owned by a state government in India. The Kerala Chief Minister has been inaugurated since the platform is owned and operated by the left government.
Cspace.tv is developed and run by the Kerala Film Development Corporation Limited (KSFDCLTD). It operates under the support of the Department of Cultural Affairs of the Kerala Government.
With its user-friendly interface and affordable subscription plans, CSpace aims to bring the magic of Malayalam cinema and storytelling to audiences across the globe.

Watch On Rent
You have to pay the money to watch the content on CSpace on a rent basis. If you want to watch the content, you can pay rent to watch a particular content rather than paying for a whole month’s subscription charge.
You may or may not like this feature.
The basic rent to watch the content on CSpace is 75 INR and you can pay online. Once you paid the charge, you can start streaming and this will have a validity of 720 hours.
When calculating, 720 hours is a whole month of 30 days. So, you only need to pay 75 INR to watch the content for a whole month. This is a huge savings.
Features
Private OTT platforms are ruling the market, but this government-based platform gives more unique content that you cannot watch on other platforms. There are hundreds, even thousands of art creators in Kerala and they don’t have a platform to be recognized by the government to be considered for artistic awards.
By releasing the content on this Govt. platform, they can be recognized, more than that get from other big OTT platforms and YouTube channels.
Hundreds of short films, documentaries, albums, etc are listed on CSpace but they are not available to watch on other OTT websites and apps.
CSpace is not harmful to the Malayalam or Tamil film industries since very few commercial movies are released here and that is far day from the release date of the movies in theatres.
The films that appear for the state and national awards are streamed through the CSpace.
Add more than one profile on a single account
There is an option for you to create and add more than one profile on the same CSpace account. This way you can simply manage the content. Simply switch between the profiles you want to.
