Years ago, It was just imagination of mine watching my favourite TV channels on a mobile phone. But now, the imagination becomes true as the revolution of mobile devices and mobile apps.

What if you can watch your favourite malayalam channels on smartphone. If you are a Jio user, I have a great news for you. You can watch almost all the Malayalam channels on your mobile phone with the help of a TV application called Jio TV.

Not only Malayalam, but we can enjoy the channels of almost all the languages in India. In this post, you can find the list of Malayalam channels available with Jio TV.

How to access Malayalam Channels On Jio TV?

It’s very easy for you to access the malayalam channels on your Jio TV app. First of all, download and install Jio TV app on your mobile devices. The app is available for both android and iOS users.

You have to sign in with your Jio mobile number. If you are first time user, you will receive one time password (OTP) to recognize the user and login to the app.

Once you signed up to the app, you will be land to the Home page of the app.

In the top, there are some tabs available such as

FOR YOU – Recommended contents for you based on your initial configurations
TV GUIDE – Get all of the available TV channels
NEWS – To watch News Channels
SHOWS – The collection of the most popular TV shows
SPORTS – All sports contens
SPECIALS – Special and most popular contents
KIDS – All kids content

To start watching the Malayalam channels, select TV GUIDE option.

Then you will see two drop down menus on the top of the page to select language and categories of Channels

First of all, tap on the Language drop-down menu and select Malayalam as the language.

It will listed out all the available Malayalam channels on Jio TV.

Select the category of channels from the first drop-down menu. This will sort that specific category of Malayalam channels for you. This will simplify to sort the specific category of channels.

For example, if you only want Malayalam News Channels only, Then select Malayalam as Language, and News channel from the first drop down menu.

I wish to share the screenshot of the image, but unfortunately, I can’t screenshot from my mobile since there is personal information within the app. The Jio TV app gives such a super security to your privacy.

Is there any monthly subscription for Jio TV?

No! The channels are completely free. All that you need to do is to have a Jio data plan. Jio TV is now becoming one of the best streaming platforms that now stream many sports events. So, you don’t need to spend any amount for other streaming platforms like Disney plus, etc.

Just recharge for a data pack based on your need. If you recharge for 299 INR for 28 days, you’ll get unlimited 5G data if your smartphone supports 5G network. Other 4G handphone users will get 2GB per day and it’s enough to for watching many hours TV channels.

If you are not using your mobile only want less data, you can do a data pack of 239 INR which gives unlimited 5G on %G-enabled mobiles, and 1.5 GB for 4G mobile phones.

In any case your data has exceeded the daily limit, you can then recharge for a data addon pack to get more data and continue enjoying your malayalam channels with your mobile phone.
